Why people be calling this blackface? I've seen so many black and white photoshoots where models are painted black. It's a theme. They ain't tryna be a different race.
Even as a black girl, I see nothing wrong with that photo shoot 🙄🤷🏾♀️
Y'all are so fucking sensitive. Can't say anything nowadays w/o ppl being butthurt all the damn fucking time
She was neeked right?
White or yellow or pink people telling us how we suppose to feel. Owning black? Wtf is that? WE ARE BLACK!
If someone is offended by this WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU PINK/WHITE/YELLOW People to say how they should feel?!
To be honest.. its art. Is suppose to be that way. If someone who seen this poster in Europe…. best believe it wouldve been offensive. No1 knows the context.
To others…..She looks like a black women dropped in highlight with a wigg on. Period.
I swear theres a lot of sensitive kids in the internet these days.Sometimes even stupid adults.Research Black face.
Please read some critical race theory, a google search on what black face is, doesn’t make you learned on the subject and doesn’t allow you to dismiss all of black academia’s work. For a culture that is so anti-black in very many aspects, casually using the aesthetics of blackness whilst being materially unkind to black people and viewing whiteness as an ultimate symbol of beauty is definitely problematic. They could have employed a black person for this photoshoot , a minority group in society that receives little to no representation, but they chose not to. They thought it was more convenient to actually paint someone black. And before you start talking about black people exploiting the victim card, I will also point out that dismissing a materially disadvantaged racial group’s experiences in society as hysterics is racist.
This is getting so ridiculous, do black ppl own the colour black??? Just STOP.
I have yet to see one black person mad about this 'incident'. Blackface is usually done as a 'caricature' (originally, of course) of black people and this is clearly something else.
However, I have noticed how some people are using this example as an excuse to shade black people as if we were bothered by this. Come on now, your prejudice is showing!
The photo was not blackface, their comments about her looking like an ethnic cartoon character were insensitive and offensive. The actual photoshoot was not done in malice and should not be taken out of context. Everyone is a little too sensitive on the internet but falsely accusing people of racially charged intentions and actions undermines the efforts of those who attempt to correct actual racist attacks on marginalized groups. Stop policing where it is not necessary. Again to reiterate the only microaggression present was when Kian84 or whatever his name is told Han Hye Jin that she looked like a clearly stereotyped and very ethnic cartoon character, that was not appropriate.
I died at the persimmon knee
The thumbnail is so beautiful
People who called this blackface are both ignorant in art and the context of what blackface is. Stop being fake woke all the time when you don't know what you're talking about. Seriously. Smh.
She looked gorgeous on that cover 🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍
People are so easily offended these days…sheesh
I am not offended it’s art
그래 이시언 너무 막말하는 거 좀 고치면 좋겠는데 이젠 본인이 개그소재로 삼으시네
He was talking about yoga posture of Han not black body painting. Guy…. It's not a comment based on racism.
1:02 is the most racist thing in this video. Photo shoot wasn’t racist since she was supposed to be a nude sculpture but his comment was ignorant asf
She supposed to bend her knee when she tape them haha.
I feel like u have seen her before…other than for this
?? !!!!
I can't remember and it gives anxiety 😑
Blackface is used to demean, disrespect, and make fun of black people in the most stereotypical ways.
Is this in anyway making fun or disrespecting black people?
If people are out to see racism and discrimination, they will end up seeing it everywhere
